At JUNK.99$ Junk Removal, junk removal in Reno costs $99 for half a cubic yard and $125 for one cubic yard. Each additional cubic yard is $50. A typical sofa costs about $225. We confirm the exact price on-site, for free, before we start.
How junk removal is priced
Most junk removal companies, including us, price by volume: how much space your items take up in the truck. We measure that in cubic yards. One cubic yard is a space 3 feet wide, 3 feet deep and 3 feet tall, about the size of a washing machine.
Our price includes the labor, loading, hauling and standard disposal. There is no separate trip charge.

Example
An average sofa takes about 3 cubic yards of truck space, which is $225. Every job is different, so we measure your load on-site and give you the exact price before we start.
What can change the price
- Heavy materials. Concrete, dirt, rock, tile and roofing are priced by weight and may cost more.
- Appliances and TVs. Refrigerators, freezers and AC units (which contain Freon), washers, dryers and TVs carry an additional disposal surcharge.
- Structures. Hot tubs, decks and sheds have to be taken apart, so we price them on-site.
How to save money
Move your items outside before we arrive and you get 20% off. Grouping everything in one spot also speeds up the job.
Why we give prices on-site
Photos can't show weight, stairs or items hidden behind others, so online quotes often change on pickup day. We'd rather give you one honest, final price in person. The estimate is always free, and if you don't like the price, you owe nothing.
